Humble Beginnings
St. Laurentius School had a very humble beginning. In 1813, about 50 children were educated in the Polish language at a local blacksmith shop. Later, Rev. Albert Malusiecki, seeing a need for a parochial school, invited four Felician sisters to take charge of the school.

The second and third floors are used for a science lab, art/music room and the library.
